A: After booking your service, we will connect to gather all information to build your résumé. To understand your experience, accomplishments, career goals, and target positions. We then use that information to develop a résumé tailored to your professional goals.

A: We work with job seekers at different stages of their careers, including entry-level professionals, experienced professionals, career changers, individuals returning to the workforce, and those pursuing leadership opportunities.

A: ResumesByYJ provides personalized career services, including professional résumé writing, cover letter writing, résumé reviews, interview coaching, and career consultation.
Q: How long does the process take?
A: Turnaround times depend on the service selected and the information provided by the client. Your expected turnaround time will be communicated when your service is booked.
Q: Will my résumé be ATS-friendly?
A: Yes. Résumés are developed with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) in mind, using professional formatting and relevant keywords appropriate for your target position.
Q: Do I need an existing résumé?
A: No! You do not need an existing résumé. We can create one from the beginning using your employment history, education, skills, accomplishments, and other career information.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
Because our services are personalized and involve time dedicated specifically to each client, payments are non-refundable once a service has been purchased.

Q: Can you guarantee that I will get a job?
A: No.
ResumesByYJ provides professional résumé writing, interview preparation, and career development services designed to strengthen your job search and professional presentation. However, we cannot guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, promotions, salary increases, or any specific career outcome.
Hiring decisions are made by individual employers and depend on many factors outside of our control.
Q: How many revisions are included?
A: Your selected service package will specify the number of revisions included. Additional revisions beyond the included amount may be subject to an additional fee.
Q: What happens if I don't show up?
A: A missed appointment without appropriate notice may be considered a no-show. The appointment and payment may be forfeited, and a new appointment may require a new booking and payment.
Q: What happens if I'm late?
A: Your appointment begins at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will reduce the amount of time available for your scheduled session.
Arrivals more than 30 minutes late may be considered a missed appointment and may result in cancellation of the session without a refund.
Q: What happens if I need to reschedule?
A: Please provide advance notice if you need to reschedule your appointment. Rescheduling requests made with insufficient notice may result in the loss of the appointment and/or payment.
Q: Can you use my résumé or success story as a testimonial?
A: Only with your permission. ResumesByYJ will not publicly share your résumé, testimonial, photograph, job offer, or other identifying information without appropriate authorization.
Q: Is my information confidential?
Yes. We respect your privacy and treat information shared during the career service process as confidential, subject to applicable law and any agreed-upon terms.
